First Prize in the Nomique Furniture Moduler Design Competition 2015
End of Year Degree Show
At the end of my University course I got to display my award winning work at our degree show. It was amazing to hear all the positive and some of the constructive feedback from everyone on the opening night and the two weeks after that was open to the public. It was a great experience and I will look forward to showcasing more of my work it the opportunity comes about.

Coming in first place with my 'Continuum' design was a dream come true as a designer, as it is a big milestone to get your work appreciated by somebody in the current design industry.
The competition was set by Nomique back in October 2015 to design a new modular furniture range. I designed Continuum to fit into the commercial sector i.e. waiting rooms, offices, university etc. The idea is for the furniture to be modular using an optional male and female locking system therefore the furniture can be connected in various styles and patterns to suit any room layout. The ergonomics are suitable for many different user groups and disabilities. The wheelchair desk is a main feature of the design which allows a wheelchair user to fit into any layout with ease and comfort. An integrated coffee machine is a quirky product that is able to fit into the range.
Again I am delighted to have taken part in such a good experience and would like to thank Nomique for the opportunity.
