Lighting

All lighting was natural, the dark clouds and blue skies made for great contrast.

Equipment

A Canon Powershot SX500 IS was used with no flash and no other equipment.

Inspiration

I just love taking photographs and the Airshow was a great opportunity.

​

Editing

I took a normal JPEG image and touched it up a little in Photoshop using the brightness and contrast tools.

​

In my camera bag

My new Canon Dslr, 2 lenses, external flash, filters, spare batteries (must have), mono pod and tripod.

Feedback

Quick shutter speed (1/800 or higher), good observation, a focus and/or a good subject, a steady hand, an eye for detail and patience. I tend to use a UV filter now which can help take out glare from the sun.
